Counterbalance Forklifts
Once per year (or 2000 hours) the wheels on counterbalance forklifts will be removed, brake linings and seals inspected and cleaned. The wheel bearings are repacked and the wheels assembled and brakes adjusted. The steer wheels are removed and the bearings are repacked with grease. This service is usually performed with the load test.
SM/ Lifting Device Test
Once each year (or 2000 hours) the Ontario Government requires all lifting equipment to have an inspection and load test performed by competent personnel. In keeping with these guidelines, Frontier Material Handling will perform a lifting device test on site (if applicable) during the first or last scheduled maintenance interval of the contract. If needed the test weights will be delivered to the customer location at the customer’s expense.
Fleet Management/ Cost Tracking
At the end of each year (from the start of the contract) a statement of equipment costs will be printed and delivered to the customer along with recommendations for the following term.
